Here is a rare one… this is a Blown Three Mold (GIII-8) Sunburst Pattern hat, that is ALSO a 24-rib pattern as well! This kind of treatment was a special effort, dipped into two very different molds. Needless to say, this is VERY RARE. This was probably produced at the Sandwich Glass Company, 1820-30s. BOTH impressions are very strong. Nice folded over rim, and a pontil scarred base. Here is a hat (or a an open salt for practical use) that would be the centerpiece of a collection. Excellent condition, and a fresh item to the market!
