Description
This is a 3-piece mold wide mouth civil war era jar, that is very similar to the size of the Weeks & Gilson bottles. These were made on a commercial basis at the South Stoddard factory, early 1860s. This one is from the Dave Olson collection, and is a very nice example. Good “Earthy” amber glass, and an applied lip. Excellent condition.
