Been a while since I have had a nice colored GI-39 QUART flask, embossed with a bust of George Washington and “THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY” The other side features the bust of General Zachary Taylor and “GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS”. These are common in aqua, but tough to find in colors. This one is a bright medium yellowish green! I don’t think I have had this color before. Nice strong embossing, sheared to, open pontil base. An extremely shallow bubble inside the neck, but I would consider this to be an excellent TOP SHELF example! A nice addition to any flask collection!
