Description
Here is a VERY NICE middle sized (roughly 11″ tall) pickle jar attributed to the Willington Glass Works, CT, 1850s. This one is just gorgeous, and in an unusual bluish aqua color, more of an ICE BLUE! Most of these come in aqua and green colors, rarely in other colors. This one just shimmers in the light… beautiful glass, well-detailed “gothic” panels, an applied lip, and a sand chip type pontil base. No excuses, this is a beautiful example of a desirable pickle bottle!!
