Description
Here is a possibly unique bottle, or at least, the best of less than a handful… This is a yellowish green “J. ZERBE / MINERAL WATER / DUNCANSVILLE / PA” bottle, probably 1850-60s, made for a very short time, in a very rural town! Best of all… this is an attic-type find, not a dug bottle. The color has a nice even density, in a medium yellowish (or limey) green, a sloping collared top, and a HUGE iron pontil scarred base. The embossing is as strong as you will see, and it is a very funky font style! This is a MUST-HAVE for the soda / mineral water collector. Condition is excellent, and the bottle is about as good as they get. The bottle listed on Tod von Mechow’s website is this exact bottle, and it was new to him. Don’t miss this opportunity!
