SOLD! This is a superb example of a CRUDE reddish amber (some may see a pucey tone) square whiskey, embossed “C.A. RICHARDS & CO / 99 WASHINGTON ST. / BOSTON”. Note the backwards “N”s. Made at South Stoddard, 1860s. Whittled glass, bright color, FRONT & BACK LABELS in good shape! Applied lip, smooth base. Condition of bottle is excellent, labels have some area of loss.
