Description
I believe this one to be UNIQUE and likely one of the best examples known of this cloverleaf or octofoil food or preserve bottle. I have had this one for many years, acquired from a Heckler Auction. This early example is in a lovely CITRON color! I have seen the aquas, teals, and ambers… but never one like this. Very nice glass clarity as well. This one is PONTILED. These were made in New England, 1840-50s. You also see them in amber, attributed to the Stoddard works, 1860s. My guess is this could have been produced at Keene? Regardless, it is beautiful, PERFECT, and probably a unique color! You may never see another one.
