Description
Here is a rare little glasshouse whimsy HAT made from a paneled utility bottle. Probably 1830-1840s, this was produced in a standard 12-panel utility or medicine bottle mold, however, was removed and manipulated into a hat form. Whimsies made from molded bottle forms are very rare! This one is in a sparkling aqua color, nice execution, and overall fantastic condition. It may be a while before you see another!
